Forklift Operator Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse activities, including loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and put-away operations. This role requires physical abilities such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs, as well as operating a stand-up forklift. Responsibilities Possess complete knowledge of company GDPs. Count all products and check for damage, infestation, and unique product identifiers such as part numbers and batches. Report any shortages, overages, or damages on the appropriate forms. Apply appropriate labels to products. Efficiently stack and store products in a manner that prevents damage. Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area by following company housekeeping policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Food Safety standards. Essential Skills Forklift operation Inventory management Material handling Experience with stand-up forklifts Shipping and receiving Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a warehouse environment Proficiency in picking and using pallet jacks Why Work Here? Work Environment The work schedule is the first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 6am to 4:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Jessup, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
