Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of goods through shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse distribution processes. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload materials Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and stacking with proper technique to prevent injury Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools for accurate tracking Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using order picker equipment Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all operations Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime Assist in shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting goods for quality Maintain organized storage areas, conduct inventory counts, and support warehouse distribution efforts Use materials handling equipment operation skills responsibly to promote a safe working environment Follow all safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Proven experience operating forklift trucks (including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo) in a warehouse setting Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes and inventory management is highly preferred Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation Experience with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting procedures in a fast-paced environment Warehouse experience involving order picking, load & unload tasks, and materials handling equipment operation Basic math skills for inventory counts and order processing accuracy Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management system administration is a plus Join us as a Forklift Operator if you're eager to bring energy to your workday while ensuring safety and efficiency at every step.
