Job Title:
Forklift Operator Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be engaged in various warehouse activities including loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and put-away. You will be required to walk, bend, lift up to 40 lbs, and operate a stand-up forklift. Responsibilities Possess complete knowledge of company GDPs. Count all products and check for damage, infestation, and unique product identifiers such as part numbers and batches. Report any shortages, overages, or damages using appropriate forms. Apply appropriate labels to products. Efficiently stack and store products in a manner that prevents damage. Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area and follow company housekeeping policies and procedures. Be responsible for food safety. Essential Skills Experience with inventory and material handling. Proficient in using RF scanners. Ability to unload and manage shipping/receiving tasks. Experience in warehouse operations and picking. Experience operating a stand-up forklift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with FLO is preferred. Work Environment This position is on the weekend shift from Friday to Sunday (6am-6pm). The work environment is clean and temperature-controlled. Employees will receive two 20-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. You will be compensated for 40 hours as long as you complete your 36-hour shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
