AM Thur-Sat Job Description:

Candidates will stand on the battery line and ensure the batteries are getting filled properly with the correct fluids. Our contractors will be putting parts into machines that end up being used to go into batteries. This requires our contractors to be on their feet for long periods of time each day. Visually inspect the parts that are going through the machine. Will need to push the button occasionally to move the part through to the next station. One department in Production Requires our contractor to input data into the computer and also at times log data on a sheet. This is not a fast-paced environment but will need good attention to detail and cannot be scared on using a computer Once a part is put through the machine it takes about a minute to run through the filling cycle. Once complete our contractor will need to log that data into the computer. This is one particular area that our contractors work in. All employees will be cross trained on all areas in the plant as time goes on.

Accountabilities:

Operate machinery to assemble parts used production. Ensure parts are filled correctly with the proper fluids. Visually inspect parts as they progress through the machine. Push buttons to advance parts to the next station as needed. Input and log data into the computer system for production tracking. Maintain attention to detail in a slow-paced environment. Cross-train in various areas of the plant over time.

Qualifications:

Must have GED or HS Education 1 year of assembly experience is preferred 1 year of manufacturing or production experience is preferred 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred
