This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, handling manual tasks, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. Duties Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse. Conduct barcode scanning to assist with logistics tracking and inventory updates. Pick and prepare orders accurately for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected. Manage inventory levels by organizing stock, conducting regular counts, and updating records. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading shipments efficiently. Perform manual handling tasks to support warehouse operations as needed. Follow forklift safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying quantities. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. Knowledge of forklift safety protocols and best practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately. Familiarity with warehouse operations including order picking, inventory management, and shipping & receiving. Experience with barcode scanning technology used in logistics processes. Strong manual handling skills and physical stamina to perform warehouse tasks effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
