Job Description

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Logistics Forklift Driver to join our team at the Scout Motors Production Center located in Blythewood, SC . This individual is responsible for safely transporting materials, chemicals, production components, and waste throughout the facility. This role helps maintain production flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Responsibilities and Job duties:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. Transport paint materials, chemicals, consumables, and production components throughout the Paint Shop. Load, unload, stage, store, and replenish materials to support production. Remove waste, scrap, and empty containers from work areas. Perform inventory transactions using SAP, WMS, scanners, or similar systems. Conduct cycle counts and maintain FIFO inventory practices. Support line-side replenishment and just-in-time material deliveries. Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report issues. Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and 5S standards. Participate in continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum one year of forklift experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or automotive environment. High school diploma or GED. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Basic computer and inventory system experience. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a team. Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Preferred Qualifications Automotive paint shop experience. SAP or warehouse management system experience. Knowledge of paint materials, chemical handling, and hazardous materials. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
