Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse distribution and logistics operations. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, crane, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, cycle counts, and updating inventory management software and warehouse management system (WMS) Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for shipment, packing goods securely, and verifying shipments with RF scanners and AS400 systems Support order picking and packing activities to ensure timely order fulfillment while adhering to safety regulations and OSHA standards Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials movement using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, managing inventory storage areas, and ensuring safety protocol adherence Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, implement safety procedures, and improve logistics workflows Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks, cherry pickers, crane operation experience preferred Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, inventory management software (e.g., RF scanners), and warehouse management system (WMS) Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing accurately Familiarity with safety regulations including OSHA standards for heavy equipment operation and manual handling procedures Prior experience in warehouse management or supervision roles is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining safety standards Join us in creating a safe, efficient environment where your skills in materials handling and warehouse operations can shine!
