Nesco Resource is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility in the Laurens, SC area. This position is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment while supporting production, warehouse, and material handling operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility Load, unload, stage, and move raw materials and finished products Supply production lines with materials as needed Remove completed products from production areas and transport them to designated locations Verify materials, quantities, and locations before movement Assist with inventory organization and material tracking Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns Maintain clean and organized warehouse and production areas Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as needed Requirements Previous forklift/material handling experience required Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Willingness to cross-train in other areas as needed
