This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient movement, loading, and unloading of materials within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in warehouse operations, materials handling, and equipment operation, contributing to the seamless flow of goods and maintaining high safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and safety are paramount. Duties Operate a sit down forklift, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using barcode scanning systems to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Manage inventory levels through regular stock counts and updates within the warehouse management system. Assist in shipping and receiving processes by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring proper documentation. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency. Follow warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for optimal storage and quick retrieval. Qualifications Proven experience operating sit down forklift Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology used in logistics. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and material handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling safety. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or management is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Candidates with warehouse experience involving heavy equipment operation, inventory management, or logistics coordination are encouraged to apply. Pay:
