Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Sit-Down Electric Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced food-grade warehouse. This role is responsible for safely loading, unloading, transporting, and staging products while maintaining strict food safety and warehouse standards. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of forklift experience, works safely and efficiently, and is committed to accuracy and quality. Responsibilities Safely operate a sit-down electric forklift to move, stage, load, and unload materials. Receive, store, and transport products throughout the warehouse. Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance concerns. Accurately complete inventory movements using the warehouse management system (WMS). Follow all OSHA, company safety, and food-grade warehouse regulations. Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain food safety standards. Work closely with warehouse leadership to ensure production and shipping schedules are met. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Previous experience in a food-grade, food manufacturing, or FDA-regulated warehouse preferred. Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
