national general contractor is adding a certified forklift operator to a large data center project in Clarksville, TN. The seat runs a rough terrain forklift and an off-road telehandler, runs a skid steer, and keeps the cranes on site serviced and clean (greasing, fluid checks, track and deck cleanup). $40.00/hour 5+ months, anticipate 50-60 hours per week Requires forklift certification and OSHA 10 Start date: 08.17.2026 — some flexibility past that date Local to the Clarksville, TN area preferred Overview Move and stage material and equipment across an active data center construction site with a rough terrain forklift and an off-road telehandler Run a skid steer for material handling and site cleanup as the work calls for it Keep the cranes on site ready to work — grease and fluid checks, debris off the tracks, cab glass clean, decks and walkways clear Stage loads where the crane crews need them ahead of the pick, not after it Complete daily equipment checks and pull a machine out of service when it needs to come out Work safely around active lifts — clear of the swing radius and the load path, taking direction from the operator and the signalperson Stay on the job for the full run so the crews are not retraining a new hand mid-project Required Current forklift certification Current OSHA 10 Hands-on time on a rough terrain forklift or an off-road telehandler Skid steer experience Able to work outdoors on an active construction site for the full 5+ month run
