Job Description

Wood Personnel Services is hiring Forklift Operators for multiple opportunities throughout Middle Tennessee. We are currently partnering with several established manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution companies in Gallatin, Portland, Hartsville, and surrounding areas who are looking for dependable, experienced Forklift Operators. Interested candidates must have: at least 6 months of forklift experience within the past 3 years
Forklift Operator Shift and Compensation:
Up to $24.30 per hour1st or 2nd shifts Shift and pay may vary depending on the client assignment
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, order picker or electric pallet jack equipment (depending on assignment) Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Moving materials throughout the warehouse Picking and staging orders Receiving and storing inventory Supplying production or shipping areas with materials Performing routine equipment inspections before each shift Following all OSHA and company safety guidelines Maintaining a clean and organized work area Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed Specific equipment and responsibilities may vary depending on the client assignment.
Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:
At least 6 months of forklift experience within the past 3 years Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong attention to detail Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Preferred Equipment Experience:
Experience operating any of the following equipment is a plus:
