Details for the Forklift Operator| Manufacturing position: $18.00 an hour + 1$ attendance bonus if you meet 40 hours 6:00am-2:30pm Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Zero Fees - you'll never be charged for any screening service Fast Start Date Weekly Pay Job Duties for the Forklift Operator position: Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the plant Identifies many types of raw material, in process or finished product, equipment, or processing materials Check identification of materials to be moved, cross-references with production schedule or shipping schedule, and moves to required location Reports inconsistencies or problems to supervisor Familiarizes self with productive capacity of machines or loading schedule of shipping services to assure prompt delivery of required items to proper destination, so that equipment does not shut down for lack of supply Keeps tally or count of product moved and reports to production planning department Removes empty skids or pallets and stacks in designated area Performs daily forklift inspection to ensure machine is running properly May also use other equipment May handle and dump scrap materials as needed Keep work areas clean and orderly Responsible for conducting all work in a safe manner May perform other duties as requested May participate in project teams as requested Qualifications and Desired Skills for the Forklift Operator position: High school diploma or equivalent Previous forklift, shipping/receiving and/or warehouse experience preferred Must have a valid driver's license Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to read and pass tape measure test Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach If you have the experience and skills we're looking for, apply to Luttrell Staffing today!
