Job Description

Forklift Operator Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Lebanon, TN. In this role, you will safely transport materials throughout the facility, load and unload trucks, and support warehouse operations to ensure the timely movement of products. The ideal candidate has experience operating powered industrial trucks, values workplace safety, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to safely transport materials throughout the warehouse and designated work areas. Load and unload trucks accurately while minimizing product damage. Perform material handling, inventory movement, and product staging to support daily operations. Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate records of material movements. Inspect products and materials for quality and report any discrepancies or damage. Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines while maintaining a clean work environment.
Forklift Operator Requirements:
Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck (forklift) in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred. Ability to remain seated while operating a forklift for extended periods, including driving in reverse for long durations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately judge distances, heights, and surrounding hazards. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain complete, legible records. A valid state driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record may be required. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures depending on seasonal conditions.
Forklift Operator Schedule:
Wednesday - Sunday 7:30 am - until the job is completed
Forklift Operator Compensation:
$19.50 per hour
