Forklift Operator Location:
Abilene, TX Move Fast. Stack Smart. Get Paid.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders. Accurately log received goods into inventory systems. Pick, pack, and label items for outgoing shipments. Prepare shipping documents and generate labels for carriers like UPS and FedEx. Organize and stage outgoing shipments in designated areas. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified). Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized. Communicate with supervisors or leads about any shipment issues or delays. Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred. Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Good attention to detail when checking and recording shipments. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Clear communication skills to work with team members and supervisors.
