Overview Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Harlingen, where your expertise will keep our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently! As a key player in our distribution process, you'll operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely movement of goods. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and manual inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Perform order picking and order fulfillment tasks with precision to meet shipping deadlines. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety standards in production. Conduct routine equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs to ensure all material handling equipment operates safely and efficiently. Follow warehouse safety protocols including OSHA standards, forklift safety procedures, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling guidelines. Support warehouse distribution processes by coordinating with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage space and workflow. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, or similar heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials with manual handling techniques. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments and warehouse safety protocols. Prior experience in warehouse management or as an order picker is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and follow detailed instructions. Pay:
$11.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
