PLANT FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM $16.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate forklift safely and in compliance with company procedures Perform pre-shift inspections and submit maintenance requests as needed Locate and deliver appropriate stock to machines promptly Remove finished goods and maintain neat, safe, and organized stock storage Accurately complete and maintain paperwork and computer records for stock locations Assist in meeting production schedules and suggest optimizations Support other forklift operators and act as backup to Shipping Lead Report production, quality, safety, and operational data accurately and on time Follow all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping standards Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required Current and valid Lift Truck Operator License required Ability to read instructions, tape measures, and production documents Strong basic math skills, including measurement, volume, and rate calculations Working knowledge of forklift operation, stock movement, and production standards Ability to apply common sense to solve routine issues and follow written or verbal directions Must be physically capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, standing, walking, kneeling, and working in loud and variable environments

Preferred:

Experience in the corrugated industry Prior forklift operation experience
