PLANT FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM$16.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB

FUNCTIONSOperate forklift safely and in compliance with company proceduresPerform pre-shift inspections and submit maintenance requests as neededLocate and deliver appropriate stock to machines promptlyRemove finished goods and maintain neat, safe, and organized stock storageAccurately complete and maintain paperwork and computer records for stock locationsAssist in meeting production schedules and suggest optimizationsSupport other forklift operators and act as backup to Shipping LeadReport production, quality, safety, and operational data accurately and on timeFollow all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping standardsPerform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED requiredCurrent and valid Lift Truck Operator License requiredAbility to read instructions, tape measures, and production documentsStrong basic math skills, including measurement, volume, and rate calculationsWorking knowledge of forklift operation, stock movement, and production standardsAbility to apply common sense to solve routine issues and follow written or verbal directionsMust be physically capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, standing, walking, kneeling, and working in loud and variable environments

Preferred:

Experience in the corrugated industryPrior forklift operation experience #psseguin
