EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred and 1 year of experience related to the industry or the combination of 3 years' experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records Valid certification to operate forklifts Ability to work various shifts to meet the needs of the business Must be able to work overtime if required by company Level II Excellent skills to handle product in rack systems, preferably experienced in dynamic rack systems Excellent skills to drive stand-up reach forklifts
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned place Locate and move stock of products for storage or shipment Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Check loads are secure by using proper lock loads inside the truck Practices safe and secure environment, reporting to a supervisor any observed issues Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Meet the requirements of HACCP, Food Safety Standard (BRC), FSMA and C-TPAT guidelines.
