Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse operations. Duties Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the facility Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and data entry systems Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and staging products according to shipping logistics requirements Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or AS400 platforms Conduct routine inspections of warehouse areas to ensure safety compliance and proper stock organization Assist with order fulfillment by accurately selecting items for customer orders and ensuring timely dispatch Support inventory management tasks such as stock counting, replenishment, and cycle counts to uphold inventory accuracy Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and ERP platforms like AS400 or MRP systems Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking and packing processes Strong understanding of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations when applicable Excellent data entry skills coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation purposes Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and performing load & unload operations Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in warehouse distribution!
