Job Summary Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced forklift driver for the first shift. In this role, you will operate large diesel forklifts to move very heavy materials and finished products. This is a great opportunity for a skilled driver who focuses on safety and enjoys a steady, fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities Drive heavy-capacity, sit-down diesel forklifts to move, load, and unload large materials weighing 40,000 to 50,000 pounds Check your equipment every day before starting work and report any maintenance or safety problems Follow all safety rules and company procedures to keep yourself and your coworkers safe Bring materials to production teams on time to help keep the facility running smoothly Make sure all loads are stable and safe before you lift or move them Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Requirements Experience driving large-capacity industrial forklifts or sit-down diesel forklifts is highly preferred Experience handling heavy or oversized loads in an industrial or manufacturing setting is helpful Strong understanding of forklift safety and safe material handling procedures Ability to speak English or Spanish Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work well with a team Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail Background check and drug screening may be required Work Environment Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly Must be able to climb on and off forklifts safely throughout the workday Comfortable working in an industrial setting with heat, dust, noise, and changing weather conditions Benefits Benefits may be available depending on the assignment.
