Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving enclosures and other equipment when needed. This operator will assure the enclosures are maneuvered safely by making special adjustments, arrangements and by communicating effectively with other workers.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Forklift Operator Safely load enclosures and other material/objects onto forklifts. Inspect lifts to prevent malfunctions Direct helpers in clearing areas where lifts will be used to move enclosures Move/transport enclosures using forklifts. Inspect forklifts and other lifts for proper functioning, noting any concerns. Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skills General cleaning in the area Obey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulations Responsible for any other tasks that may arise

Work Environmental & Physical Demand:

Rotate sitting / standing up to 10 hours per day Climbing on/off forklift Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively, as well as frequent twisting and bending, to meet fast paced work demands Work in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights (ladders, skyjacks and top of enclosures) and extreme temperatures. May work inside or outside to complete work assignments. Position requires exposure to dust and dirt. Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools and equipment.

Minimum Requirements/Experience:

Must have a minimum of 2-year as a forklift operator Needs to have 20,000 lbs lift and under experience Must know/understand weight limitations for proper forklift setu Must have basic knowledge of land signals for moving a load Must have experience utilizing a forklift Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment

Required Education:

High School diploma or equivalent
