Full Job Description Pay Rate:
$18.50
Shift:
1st shift: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm The PIV Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating powered industrial vehicles (PIV), such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, or other warehouse equipment, to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the facility. The driver must follow all safety procedures and maintain a productive and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate PIV equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers safely and efficiently.
- Transport products and materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Put away and retrieve inventory from storage locations.
- Verify product quantities, labels, and locations while moving materials.
- Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or mechanical issues.
- Follow all OSHA, company, and facility safety guidelines.
- Maintain clear and organized aisles and work areas.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other warehouse team members.
- Meet productivity and accuracy expectations.
- Properly secure and handle products to prevent damage.
- Follow attendance, safety, and workplace policies.
