Responsibilities Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials across various warehouse locations. Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation and inventory management within warehouse management systems. Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance. Support warehouse distribution tasks including materials handling, heavy lifting, and order fulfillment in construction or industrial environments. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate movement of goods, optimize storage solutions, and improve workflow processes. Travel 30-45 days at at time usually no work on the weekends Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery in a warehouse or construction setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution practices, materials handling techniques, and OSHA safety standards. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues and performing routine maintenance checks. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members across multiple locations.
