Forklift Operator Company:

PrideStaff is partnering with a premier local industrial manufacturing provider to find a dedicated, safety-conscious Laser Helper and Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a standard forklift to transfer raw materials, sheet metal, and finished goods across the facility. Assist laser operators with loading raw sheet metal onto equipment and unloading processed parts efficiently. Perform basic deburring, sorting, and staging of cut metal components for downstream production. Conduct light quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and are free of surface defects. Package, palletize, and label finished materials in preparation for storage or outbound shipment. Maintain a clean, organized work area by removing scrap metal and following daily housekeeping standards. Strictly adhere to company safety guidelines, wearing required PPE and conducting daily forklift pre-shift checks.
Qualifications & Special Requirements:
Must have prior hands-on forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial setting. Previous exposure to industrial machine operation, laser equipment, or metal fabrication is a plus. Ability to read basic measurements, work orders, and safety signage accurately. Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of a shift. Dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
