Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. Marks materials with identifying information. Drives vehicle/forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment. Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments. Maintains inventory records. What's Needed? Previous Warehouse experience. Ability to operate a forklift (preferably sit down forklift). Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. What's in it for me?
