Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise in warehouse operations will ensure the safe and smooth flow of goods throughout the distribution center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety procedures for heavy lifting and manual handling Pick orders accurately using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment to meet shipping deadlines Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents, inspecting goods for damage, and documenting transactions Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation of forklifts and related machinery Follow warehouse safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working space Skills Proven experience operating various types of warehouse equipment including forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, clamp truck, and Hi-Lo Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics tracking Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes such as order picking, load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards in production areas Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry tasks Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and general warehouse safety standards Experience with materials handling equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus Prior warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling equipment operation and inventory management is highly desirable Join us as a Forklift Operator if you're ready to bring energy to your workday while ensuring the safe movement of goods in a thriving warehouse environment.
