•11:30 PM Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Now Hiring Certified Reach Truck Operators!
PRT Staffing is hiring skilled Reach Truck Operators to support a leading cold storage warehouse operation in Baytown, TX.This is a 2nd shift opportunity with consistent hours, strong leadership onsite, and the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance. What You'll Be DoingOperate reach trucks to move, load, and store product safelyPick, stage, and organize orders for shipmentWork in receiving, selecting, and picking functions (cross-training required)Verify product accuracy, labels, and quantitiesFollow all safety procedures and operating standardsReport any safety concerns or near-miss incidents proactivelySupport overall warehouse operations as needed Work EnvironmentCold storage facility with multiple temperature zones: Cooler (~30°F)Freezer (~15°F)Blast freeze (as low as
•10°F)PPE and freezer gear provided (must be worn at all times)Fast-paced and performance-driven environment
What We're Looking ForRequired:
Minimum 2 years of reach truck experience (recent and consistent)Ability to safely operate equipment in a cold environmentAbility to lift and move product (up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier loads with equipment assistance)Strong attention to safety and detailReliable transportation and strong attendance
Preferred:
Experience in cold storage or food distribution warehousesFamiliarity with RF scanners or warehouse systemsBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Important NotesThis is a safety-sensitive positionZero tolerance for unsafe equipment practices or cell phone usage while operating equipmentStrong attendance is critical for success in this role Grow Your CareerTop performers have the opportunity to be hired on after proven performance and good attendance.
