Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA and safety standards. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to warehouse safety protocols and manual handling best practices. Conduct inventory management tasks using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology to ensure accurate stock levels. Pick orders accurately using order picker equipment and prepare items for shipment or storage. Perform routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance teams of any malfunctions to minimize downtime. Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following warehouse distribution procedures and safety standards in production. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including lift trucks) and clamp trucks. Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management systems and barcode scanning for logistics. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually when required. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
