In this energetic role, you will operate pallet jacks and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and organize inventory within our warehouse. Your expertise will ensure smooth shipping and receiving operations, maintaining safety and accuracy at every step. Responsibilities Safely operate pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and manual methods. Move inventory efficiently within the warehouse, ensuring proper stacking and storage. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and updates. Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks. Support warehouse operations by participating in cycle counts, organizing materials, and ensuring a clean workspace. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments with familiarity in order picking and materials handling. Valid certification for forklift operation, pallet jack use, clamp truck, or heavy equipment operation preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse procedures including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and OSHA safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Experience with RF scanners, basic math skills for inventory counts, and order processing is highly desirable. Prior warehouse supervisor experience or extensive warehouse experience is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety compliance and operational efficiency.
