Job Overview International Chemicals is a wholly owned subsidiary of SMC Global, a US-based global manufacturer and supplier, prides itself on delivering top-notch chemical products within the Oil & Gas sector. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chemical Blend Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that chemical production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of chemical processes, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experienced operators are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal production levels. Follow established procedures for mixing, packaging, and labeling chemicals. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to identify any issues or areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch numbers, quantities produced, and any deviations from standard operating procedures. Collaborate with team members to implement efficient safe manufacturing. Assist in materials handling, ensuring that raw materials are stored correctly and available for production needs. (forklift experience preferred) Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety regulations while operating machinery and handling chemicals. Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with a focus on chemical processes. Familiarity with manufacturing techniques is highly desirable. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus. Knowledge of machining processes can enhance the candidate's suitability for this role. Warehouse experience that includes materials handling will be considered an asset.
