In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating clamp trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety standards. Duties Operate clamp trucks, forklifts (including lift trucks and Hi-Lo), reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and barcode scanning equipment to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of heavy materials and adherence to OSHA safety protocols Pick orders accurately using order picker equipment and prepare items for shipping or storage Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure all machinery operates safely and effectively Follow warehouse safety standards in production environments, including manual handling procedures and heavy lifting techniques Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipment details, preparing documentation, and ensuring correct barcode scanning for logistics tracking Experience Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including order picking, load & unload procedures, and inventory management Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling in a production setting Prior experience in warehouse operations or warehouse supervision is preferred but not required Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for inventory counts and shipment processing Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely while following manual handling guidelines Join us as a Clamp Forklift Operator if you're eager to bring energy into a vital logistics role!
