Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our Prime Source team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and inventory control will ensure smooth distribution operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Day shift ( 6am - 6pm) , Night shift (6pm - 6am). Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo equipment, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other material handling machinery to load and unload shipments. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and materials handling with proper techniques to prevent injury. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and stock control procedures. Assist with order picking and order fulfillment by accurately selecting items using order pickers and barcode scanners. Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring proper placement of goods on pallets or shelves. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain safety standards in equipment operation. Follow warehouse safety protocols such as OSHA guidelines, forklift safety protocols, and safe manual handling practices at all times. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency. Must be able to work in a non climent control environment Experience Proven experience operating forklifts (including lift trucks), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse environment. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management procedures. Familiarity with barcode scanning technology used for logistics tracking. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations related to materials handling and equipment operation. Experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload processes, and heavy lifting tasks. Previous warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management system oversight is a plus but not required. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and shipment documentation accurately. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety with knowledge of forklift safety protocols and manual handling best practices. Pay:
$16.50 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 - 70.0 per week
