Job:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Operator to safely operate gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric-powered industrial equipment in a distribution center. This role involves moving products, equipment, and materials while adhering to safety standards and maintaining equipment.
Role and Responsibilities:
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment. Inspect and maintain equipment daily, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness. Safely unload shipments and store products in designated locations. Prepare products for shipment, verifying accuracy in quantity and type. Move products from storage to transport vehicles efficiently. Maintain accurate records for inventory control and assist with physical inventories. Adhere to safety practices and report any unsafe conditions. Coordinate with other departments, including Customer Service and Transportation.
Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of related experience or equivalent education. Ability to complete post-hire assessments and obtain necessary equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA). Capable of wearing personal protective equipment as required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
