Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including turret trucks, forklifts, & electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, organizing pallets, and conducting regular stock checks using warehouse management systems. Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or safety hazards. Maintain safety protocols by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to manual handling guidelines, and following all warehouse safety procedures. Assist with packaging products for shipment, ensuring quality control standards are met before dispatch. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and updating inventory records accordingly. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning technology, and inventory management systems. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including order picking & packing, stock replenishment, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately. Prior experience in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Commitment to safety protocol adherence and PPE use at all times during operations.
