Job DescriptionOverview:
Receives product off the main banding line.

Checks load tags and either loads the product into the specified trailer(s), or moves product into inventory.

Moves product from inventory to machines.

Completes the required paper work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow and help to ensure that fellow workers adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.

Conduct daily inspections of equipment.

Be constantly vigilant and maintain a safe & clean work area.

Help feed machines.

Utilize scanners and ensure inventories are kept accurate.

Ensure that all orders produced are moved to the next operation.

Handle product to minimize damage.

Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed powered industrial truck operatorMust be able to operate a lift truck safely with minimal product damageMust be able to accurately scan load tags and maintain accurate inventoriesMust be able to read and follow production schedules
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbalIntermediate computer skillsStrong math/algebra skillsProblem solving and critical thinking
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, not required.

Forklift license required.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear.

The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work space is not climate controlled and can reach both hot and cold extremes (30 degrees - 110 degrees Fahrenheit).Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
