Job Description
Our client, a leader in cold storage, is hiring a Forklift Operator for its Suffolk, VA , location. Responsibilities for this position include operating stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move, load, and unload products throughout the warehouse. This role starts out at $18.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
The Day-to-Day:
Operate stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move, load, and unload products throughout the warehouse. Transport pallets to and from designated areas while ensuring product integrity. Accurately pick, store, and organize products according to warehouse protocols. Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management. Ensure proper labeling and placement of products to maintain efficient warehouse flow.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Experience in a cold storage environment is a plus. Valid forklift and electric pallet jack certification preferred Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbsPay Rate:
$18.00 /hrSchedule:
