Warehouse / Dock Operations Position Summary We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Dock Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Kent, Washington. The Dock Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, stage, and organize freight within the warehouse and dock areas. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to detail, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and committed to following all safety and operational procedures. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse material-handling equipment. Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers. Move, stage, and organize freight throughout the dock and warehouse. Verify freight and shipment information as needed. Assist with receiving, shipping, and general dock operations. Ensure freight is handled carefully to prevent damage. Maintain organized and safe work areas. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Properly secure and position freight for storage or transportation. Communicate effectively with warehouse, dock, dispatch, and management personnel. Assist with other warehouse and dock duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred. Current forklift certification or willingness to complete company-required forklift training. Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy dock and warehouse environment. Ability to lift, move, and handle freight as required by the position. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Language Requirement Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in either Russian or Ukrainian. This requirement is necessary for effective communication with team members and for performing the duties of the position safely and efficiently. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, reach, climb, and maneuver around warehouse and dock areas. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Ability to work in varying warehouse and dock conditions. Ability to safely enter and exit trailers and operate warehouse equipment.
Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
