Shift openings: Graveyard 11:00pm - 7:15am
SUMMARY:
To meet the Processing Department requirements for supplies in a safe and professional manner. To stack finished goods in straight rows and maintain supply areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. This is a representative sample-not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks. Supplies the puree line with the proper ingredients, packaging materials and other related supplies to ensure a continuous operation. Transfers and stacks finished goods and supplies in a safe, organized and efficient manner. Reads production schedule to determine items to be transferred to production area. Stacks or places items on racks or in rows according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code. Calculates and records production data completely, concisely, accurately and legibly. Assists in all phases of the Puree Line Informs Supervisor/Operational Lead on a timely basis of all operational problems encountered and what action was taken to resolve the problems with recommendations to prevent reoccurrences. This includes documentation of operational trouble spots for corrective action. Coordinates oneself in a professional manner, working safely, taking precautions in preventing product and/or equipment damages and losses, cooperating with co-workers and maintaining good housekeeping practices at all times. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED is preferred; One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, reach with hands, stand, walk, climb stairs and/or ladders, color vision, and ability to use fine motor skills to operate small hand tools.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places; in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and working in confined spaces and heights. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Pay Information Salary Range:
