Lumber Yard Operator 🪵 💲 $20.00+/hour (DOE) ⏰ Full-Time 📍 Tacoma, WA LaborMAX Staffing is hiring dependable Lumber Yard Operators for a busy lumber yard. We're looking for safety-focused candidates with forklift experience who are ready to work in a fast-paced environment.WHAT YOU'LL DO
🔹 Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely 🔹 Pull, stage, and load customer and delivery orders 🔹 Unload incoming shipments and verify manifests 🔹 Band, store, and move lumber products 🔹 Perform daily forklift inspections 🔹 Assist with inventory counts and yard organization 🔹 Maintain clean and safe work areas 🔹 Follow all safety procedures and company policiesWHAT YOU WILL BRING
✔ 1-4 years of forklift or heavy equipment experience ✔ Lumber or building materials experience preferred ✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy ✔ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic ✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team ✔ Good communication skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
🔹 Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. 🔹 Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors throughout the day 🔹 Ability to bend, kneel, and move materials as neededREQUIREMENTS
- 18+ years old
- Previous forklift experience required
