Forklift Operator Job Description Join our team as a Forklift Operator with one opening available at the Janesville location and two openings at the Evansville location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and moving inventory efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Store items in bins, on shelves, or on the floor by style, size, or material type. Pull and fill orders using pull tickets or pick lists and deliver items to the appropriate areas. Keep accurate stock records and update inventory in Epicor software. Mark items with identifying codes, numbers, or letters. Distribute stock to production workers and track issued materials. Move materials to different departments using forklifts or other equipment. Operate a sit-down forklift to move material between buildings, both inside and outside. Perform routine forklift maintenance, such as recharging batteries. Process, schedule, and load vendor and customer shipments. Essential Skills 1 year or more of sit-down forklift experience Experience in material handling Proficiency in inventory management Order picking and packing skills Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and unloading Shipping and receiving knowledge Basic computer skills, including printing labels and entering data Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs throughout the day Experience with Epicor inventory system is a plus Why Work Here? Work Environment Work the first shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional mandatory overtime. Join a small team in an older campus with older buildings. Expect a loud and dirty environment with exposure to different temperatures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
