We believe Clear Communication is essential for effective teamwork. Job Summary City Brewery in La Crosse, WI, has immediate opportunities for F orklift Operators in our warehouse department. This position is responsible for warehouse operations, shipping, receiving and driving a forklift to move product within a warehouse, receiving pallets of full product from packaging lines and loading a semi-trailer. You will also ensure accurate information is updated in the warehouse management system. Duties and Responsibilities Load and unload pallets of full goods onto semi-trailers using a sit-down forklift. Utilizing a hand-held scanner to ensure the correct product is received and/or loaded. Inspect forklifts before each use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight and safety regulations. Assist with warehouse organization and general housekeeping duties. Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures and PPE requirements. Communicate effectively with co-workers, warehouse coordinators, drivers, supervisors & managers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Properly enter inventory into the warehouse management system. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 1 year forklift experience in a warehouse loading trailers required. High school diploma, GED, HSED or relevant work experience required. Must be 18 years old. Highly motivated, self-directed individual that is able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, often loud manufacturing and warehouse environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with teammates of varying skills and backgrounds. Effective analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to work any and all shifts, weekends and overtime as assigned. Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screening, functional capacity exam and background check.
