Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM
•12:30 AM
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team on 2nd shift. This position requires safely operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift while performing order picking, pallet building, loading trailers, and preparing customer shipments. The ideal candidate has a strong work history, values safety, and can work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
Pick orders accurately and build pallets for shipment.
Load and unload trailers.
Stack cases and assemble customer orders on pallets.
Label and prepare products according to customer specifications.
Maintain productivity while working both on and off the forklift throughout the shift.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Work independently after training while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Ask questions when clarification is needed and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Physical Requirements
Frequently push, pull, and lift 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
Qualifications
Previous experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift required.
Must successfully complete a forklift driving evaluation.
Prior forklift safety training preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including order picking, pallet building, and trailer loading.
Basic math skills with the ability to accurately count and verify orders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
Positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Self-motivated and able to stay on task with minimal supervision after training.
Reliability & Attendance
Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Must follow all company timekeeping procedures, including clocking in and out correctly.
Candidates should demonstrate a stable work history with no frequent job hopping. We are looking for individuals seeking a long-term opportunity.
