Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a contract opportunity in Plymouth, WI. This role is ideal for a safety-focused material handling professional who enjoys staying active, supporting production teams, and helping maintain a smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Forklift Operator will work closely with laminating, packaging, fabrication, routing, warehouse, and production teams to keep operations moving efficiently. This is a hands-on position with steady overnight hours, strong team interaction, and the opportunity to contribute to quality, safety, and productivity every shift. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift or lift truck to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout production and warehouse areas.
• Support laminating, packaging, fabrication, routing, and production teams with material flow, job setup, and line support.
• Ensure the correct materials are delivered to production lines and finished products are moved to designated areas.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage, stack pallets securely, and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Follow shop orders, written procedures, safety standards, and lockout procedures while completing required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain forklift equipment in safe operating condition and participate in ongoing safety and training initiatives. Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate:

  $25 to $26 per hour.

• Job Type:

  3-month contract with potential for extension or hire.

• Schedule:

  Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  Plymouth, WI 53073. Required Qualifications and Skills
• Operate a forklift or lift truck to support production and warehouse material movement.
• Maintain continuous material flow to laminating, packaging, fabrication, routing, and production lines.
• Move finished products to designated areas while preventing product damage.
• Complete shop order paperwork and follow production instructions accurately.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant forklift, material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift or lift truck operating experience required.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification through the company Safety Manager.
• Ability to read and understand shop orders, production instructions, and written procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to complete required paperwork accurately.
• Knowledge of lockout procedures and safe material handling practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the work process.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with continuous movement.
• Strong attention to safety, product quality, organization, and teamwork.
• Ability to follow directions, adapt to different production areas, and support other departments as needed. Preferred Qualifications
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Experience supporting production line setup, feeder/off-loader activity, panel saw operations, or fabrication areas.
• Basic knowledge of boards, facings, finished sizes, square products, and perforated or non-perforated products.
• Experience working in a safety-focused manufacturing or warehouse environment.
