Works with the Grants Manager to formulate and execute annual plans and strategies for achieving the agencys major gift goals with corporations and foundations.
Plans, develops, and oversees the implementation of personalized strategies for major portfolio donors, corporations, and foundations at the $5,000 to $1,000,000+ and higher levels, collaborating where appropriate with the Major Gifts Officer and Planned Giving Director.
Responsible for raising a specific dollar goal as agreed upon with the Director of Philanthropy.
Assists in planning and execution of future Capital Campaigns with the Vice President of Philanthropy.
Actively expands the prospective donor base through prospect identification and research, including discernment of appropriate fit for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) priorities and organizational values.
Develops and maintains a robust pipeline of major gift, corporate, foundation, and planned giving prospects.
Major Donor, Corporate & Foundation Relationship ManagementManages a portfolio of 50+ major gift prospects, developing and implementing plans for cultivation and solicitation of these prospects in collaboration with board members, appropriate volunteers, agency directors, and development staff.
Manages a portfolio of 2030 corporations, foundations, and individuals associated with them, developing and implementing plans for cultivation and solicitation of these prospects in collaboration with board members, appropriate volunteers, agency directors, and development staff.
Identifies potential Planned Giving and Legacy Giving prospects for cultivation and solicitation in collaboration with the Planned Giving Director, board members, appropriate volunteers, agency directors, and development staff.
Conducts 1214 face-to-face meetings monthly that advance relationships and major gift conversations.
Orchestrates appointments for personal solicitation efforts and coordinates meetings involving volunteers and/or board members to cultivate major gifts and planned gifts.
Strategizes with philanthropy team members, local staff, volunteers, and board members to cultivate major gifts and corporate/foundation relationships.
Collaborates with the Annual Fund team for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors.
Assists the Donor Development Officer with existing relationships such as sports teams and foundations and collaborates on new partnerships, executing deliverables and volunteer opportunities.
Maintains comprehensive communication among all internal and external contacts.
Moves Management, Stewardship & Donor EngagementUses moves management processes to track the cultivation and solicitation of gifts relative to all initiatives, including strategy, gift level, solicitation timeframe, and results in Raisers Edge.
Prepares reports and follow-up communications with board members and others regarding the status of fundraising initiatives, pending appointments, and all communications with prospects.
Assists in planning and coordination of donor stewardship, cultivation, recognition events, receptions, and activities designed to promote donor engagement.
Assists in planning and coordination of donor stewardship, cultivation, recognition events, receptions, and activities that include volunteer opportunities in partnership with the Volunteer & Community Engagement Manager.
Assists in planning and creation of donor development materials, documents, proposals, presentations, reports, and printed collateral to promote donor development.
Ensures timely stewardship, acknowledgment, and recognition of donors, corporations, foundations, and volunteers.
Refers appropriate donor and volunteer leads to Annual Giving, Grants, Planned Giving, Hope Society, and Volunteer Services staff.
Corporate Partnerships, Sponsorships & Community EngagementDrafts sponsorship proposals together with the Marketing Team and Grants Manager to provide branding opportunities, cross-promotions, and deliverables that align with the values and business objectives of corporations and foundations.
Collaborates with the Grants Manager on mid-year and annual reports required by corporate and foundation giving guidelines and grant expectations.
Represents the Agency in external meetings, seminars, networking opportunities, community events, and programs.
Develops and strengthens relationships with corporate partners, foundations, community organizations, and key stakeholders to increase philanthropic support and community engagement.
Serves as an ambassador for the Agencys mission, programs, and fundraising priorities.
Leadership, Team Collaboration & Operational ExcellenceAttends and contributes to monthly major gifts meetings to ensure all staff involved in direct fundraising are engaged and on track to meet individual fundraising goals.
Assists the Major Gifts Officer in providing direction and guidance related to moves management.
Assists with assigning and managing portfolios for direct fundraising staff.
Works as a development team member to promote a positive work environment and assists with special events and volunteer cultivation opportunities.
Monitors aspects of the budget related to assigned activities.
Participates in management meetings, agency events, and other activities within the general scope and nature of the position.
May manage philanthropy staff to help achieve overall fundraising goals and plans.
Supervises and manages assigned staff, when applicable, in accordance with agency personnel practices, including recruitment, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Participates in the process of ongoing personal and professional development.
Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with agency philosophy.
Participates in and supports continuous improvement initiatives, including attendance at leadership meetings and continuous improvement activities, development of performance measurements, staff training, and recognition of accomplishments.
Promotes an ongoing commitment to excellence and continual quality improvement to ensure the highest quality of services for staff, donors, volunteers, and clients.
Performs other development duties as assigned.
Other requirements:
Valid AZ drivers license, reliable transportation and ability to show proof of registration/insurance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance; must maintain clearance.
The starting salary is $75,000 annually and may increase depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, developing, and managing a strategic major gifts program focused on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual, corporate, and foundation donors with giving capacity ranging from $5,000 to $1,000,000 in support of agency initiatives. Partners closely with the Marketing & Philanthropy Team and Northern Arizona program staff to strengthen donor relationships, expand philanthropic support, and grow long-term major giving prospects. This role also supports and co-leads future capital campaign efforts while serving as a key external representative of the organization. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with community leaders, board members, donors, and stakeholders through active community engagement, fundraising, and stewardship activities. This full-time, Prescott-based position collaborates extensively with teams in Yavapai County and operates from the Prescott Catholic Charities office.ESSENTIAL DUTIES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education /Background:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business or related field. CFRE Certified Fund-Raising Executive certification preferred. Minimum of three years of progressively responsible fund-raising experience in a non-profit organization and managing and engaging volunteers and donors.Job Knowledge:

Ability to work effectively with internal and external constituents.Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, sit on floor and ambulate over uneven floor surfaces including stairs and steps. Must be able to visually and auditory interact with clients and staff. Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time. Requires work outside of the office and some travel within the state. Requires some evening and weekend work on occasion. May lift up to 10 pounds.Other requirements:
