Job Description
Job Summary A respected nonprofit organization in Fresno, CA is seeking a Fundraising Manager for a direct hire, full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced fund development professional who is passionate about building donor relationships, increasing community support, and helping advance a meaningful mission. The Fundraising Manager will manage a large donor portfolio, lead fundraising campaigns, secure sponsorships, and represent the organization within the community. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a donor portfolio of approximately 500 contacts with annual fundraising goals of around $1 million.
- Solicit donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations through meetings, presentations, campaigns, and relationship-building efforts.
- Prepare funding proposals, track donor activity in CRM systems, and provide regular reporting on fundraising progress and outcomes.
- Plan and execute donor recognition events, fundraising campaigns, sponsorship initiatives, and community engagement activities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and key stakeholders to expand organizational reach.
- Represent the organization through community presentations, donor meetings, and media interviews as needed. Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire, full-time opportunity.
Compensation:
$70,304 to $87,490 per year, depending on experience.Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for events.- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, sick leave, and a 403b plan

- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in fund development, nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or a related field.
- Proven success asking for, closing, and stewarding donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to donors, stakeholders, and community groups.
- Ability to build long-term donor relationships and manage fundraising goals with professionalism and accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage campaigns, events, reporting, and follow-up activity.
- Must pass drug screening, background check, and TB test.
- Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance required. Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual communication skills in Spanish, Hmong, or Punjabi are a plus.
- Experience using nonprofit CRM or donor management systems.
- Experience securing corporate sponsorships, foundation support, or major gifts.
- Established community relationships in the Fresno area or Central Valley nonprofit sector.
