POSITION SUMMARY
Davis Street is seeking a part-time Fundraising/Development Coordinator to support our fundraising and development work. This position focuses heavily on database management, reporting, donor records, event coordination, donor research, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with databases and reports, and able to work collaboratively with the Fundraising Manager and other team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain the fundraising database, including creating new constituent records, updating contact information, maintaining donor notes, uploading proposals and documents, and ensuring all information is complete and accurate. Accurately enter all gifts and pledges into the database and prepare acknowledgment letters. Run database queries and generate donor lists, gift reports, donor profiles, action reports, and fundraising progress reports. Review and update database records regularly to maintain data accuracy and effective document management. Assist with prospect research and add relevant information to the database for current and prospective donors. Support fundraising and donor stewardship events. Coordinate outreach, engagement, and marketing events. Work with the Fundraising Manager on donor cultivation and stewardship activities. Prepare reports to track fundraising appeals, development goals, progress, and return on investment. Support Board Fundraising Committee and Foundation meetings by coordinating materials and taking meeting minutes. Perform other duties as assigned. Work occasional weekends or additional hours as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
At least two years of relevant experience, transferable skills, relevant education, or a combination of these. Experience may include fundraising, development, nonprofit administration, database management, donor relations, event coordination, marketing, or similar work. Experience performing administrative and database-related responsibilities. Experience with Raiser's Edge is preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and internet research. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Experience working with a nonprofit organization is helpful.
