The Development Manager builds meaningful donor relationships, identifies opportunities for increased engagement and giving, and partners with colleagues across the organization to connect donors with YWCA's service to the community.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

3-5 years of fundraising or development experience in a non profit or mission-driven organization. Experience managing donor relationships or a fundraising portfolio through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Experience working with major donors, family foundations, corporate donors, or other high-value supporters. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to develop trusted relationships with donors, prospects, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with donor databases Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple donor relationships and priorities Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred. Prior to employment, obtain fingerprint clearance Prior to employment, must pass pre-employment physical exam and TB test Since 1975, YWCA Sonoma County has served as our community's only dedicated domestic violence service provider. We operate the County's only 24/7 Domestic Violence crisis hotline from within the walls of the County's only confidential Safe House Shelter for adults and children seeking refuge from violence in their own homes. We provide a wide range of services to victims of domestic violence and their children so they can heal, become self-sufficient, and return productively to the community.
