Our Y is seeking an experienced, relationship-focused Director of Philanthropy to lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts that strengthen our community and advance our mission. The Director will work closely with the Chief Philanthropy Officer, CEO, staff, volunteers, and community partners to develop and execute strategies for annual giving, major gifts, campaigns, special events, grants, and donor stewardship.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (master's degree and/or

CFRE/CFRM

preferred). 5+ years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or nonprofit leadership. Experience with annual giving, special events, grants, and capital campaigns. Understanding of moves-management, data, and metrics drive results. Grant writing experience preferred. Strong relationship-building, communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Comfortable engaging donors and community partners in person and virtually. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; fundraising database experience preferred.
