The Humane Society of St. Lucie County is looking for a Director of Development to provide strategic leadership for our fundraising, philanthropy, marketing, and community engagement efforts, and ensure the long-term financial sustainability of our organization. prepare donor updates, campaign materials, and reports for board and committee meetings What You Bring Excellent, nuanced oral and written communication skills, required. This role means personally soliciting sponsorships and cultivating donor relationships, so you need to read a room, tailor your message to each donor or corporate partner, and write with the kind of polish and persuasion that closes gifts. Not just clear writing, but skilled, strategic communication. Compensation & Benefits:

$65,000-$73,000 annual salary (based on experience), $350/month insurance stipend, 2 weeks PTO, 5 sick days, and 1 personal day.
